Southbound I-75 resurfacing in Oakland County begins Monday, April 22

- Work hours are restricted to overnights, starting at 8 p.m. and ending by 6 a.m.
- All work is scheduled to be completed by early August.April 17, 2013 -- Weather permitting, crews will begin prep work Monday, April 22, to resurface more than 14 miles of southbound I-75 in Oakland County from the Oakland/Genesee county line to M-15. MDOT plans to complete this $4.4 million investment by early August.
The resurfacing work will be limited to 3-mile segments, and includes resurfacing the ramps to and from the Clarkston Rest Area off I-75. The current three-lane section of the freeway will be reduced to one lane overnights, beginning at 8 p.m. and ending by 6 a.m. the following mornings. No work is scheduled on Saturday and Sunday nights.
