I-69 single-lane closures for culvert replacements start April 14 in St. Clair County

PROJECT:                           
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will replace two culverts on westbound I-69 between M-19 and Goodells Road.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:                    
Beginning Thursday, April 14, crews will reduce I-69 to one lane in the following areas:

Eastbound I-69:

  • Between M-19 and Fox Road
  • Between Goodells Road to 1.5 miles east of Goodells Road

Westbound I-69:

  • Taylor Road to Goodells Road
  • Stapleton Road to east of M-19

On Tuesday, April 19, crews will shift the open lane sections of westbound I-69 to the eastbound side of the road using median crossovers. This configuration will remain until the culvert replacements are complete.
