26M-39 bridge repair kicks off following Super Bowl XL
January 26, 2006 -- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) today announced that contracting crews will begin an overpass repair project along M-39 (Southfield Freeway) in Wayne County. The project will extensively repair or fully replace our structures at a cost of $9 million.

23MDOT approves future sound walls along I-94 in St. Clair Shores
January 23, 2006-- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) today announced the approval of two new sound walls to be constructed along eastbound I-94 in the community of St. Clair Shores. The walls will be constructed using fiscal year 2007 funding, with construction likely to begin in late 2007 or early 2008.
