M-11 is being resurfaced from Breton Avenue east to Patterson Avenue, and reconstructed from Patterson Avenue east to I-96. Work also includes traffic signal upgrades, new sidewalks, new lighting from Patterson Avenue east to I-96, and the addition of a right-turn lane to northbound Patterson Avenue.
The overall project is estimated to be complete by Friday, Nov. 22, 2013.
During Stage 3, M-11 traffic will be shifted onto the newly constructed eastbound lanes and work will continue for the westbound lanes on the north side of the roadway. A minimum of one lane of traffic will be open at all times in each direction on M-11 and all intersecting roads. Motorists will have access to ramps and local businesses at all times.
