Eastbound I-94 closed in Ann Arbor weekend of July 12

PROJECT:
Improvements to 9 miles of I-94 between M-14 and Carpenter Road, just east of US-23, including concrete pavement repairs and resurfacing.

During construction, there will be off-peak lane closures at night and on weekends. There will be no closures during special events or holiday weekends.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
As part of this project, I-94 will be closed, one direction at a time, over four weekends for concrete pavement repairs. The first weekend closure will be the weekend of July 12. Eastbound I-94 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, July 12, until 5 a.m. Monday, July 15.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured using M-14 and US-23.

Motorists are advised to plan extra time when traveling along eastbound I-94 at this time.
