BACKGROUND:
MDOT will be presenting information about a planned 2018 project to repave I-69 BL from I-69 to Pierce Street. I-69 BL includes Fenn Road, Angola Road, Clay Street, and Division Street, as well as a portion of Marshall Street. The project includes a conversion from four lanes to three lanes, reconstruction of the Indiana Northeastern Railroad crossing, and modernizing the traffic signal at the intersection of I-69 BL (Clay Street) and Garfield Avenue. MDOT will need to acquire a very small right-of-way parcel from a property eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places to accommodate traffic signal safety improvements.

After presentations, MDOT and city representatives will be available to answer questions and listen to concerns and suggestions.
