Beginning Feb. 5, crews will complete pavement repairs on the eastbound span of the bridge, requiring a single-lane closure. Crews plan to move both directions of traffic to the eastbound span of the bridge by Feb. 13. Demolition of the westbound span is planned for late February.
While the westbound span is reconstructed, one lane will be open in each direction on the eastbound span. This phase is expected to be completed by November, at which time crews will begin work to replace the eastbound span.
