02Michigan Airport Executive Association honors MDOT's Rob Abent with President's Award December 2, 2010 -- Rob Abent of Lansing, director of the Bureau of Aeronautics and Freight Services, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), was recently honored with the Michigan Association of Airport Executives' (MAAE) President's Award at their annual conference.
02Michigan Aeronautics Commission announces new commissioner December 2, 2010 -- Jonathon Freye of Battle Creek has been appointed by Gov. Jennifer Granholm to the Michigan Aeronautics Commission to fill a vacancy left by Commissioner J. William Prochazka, for a term that will expire in May 2011.
