2013 Mentor Michigan Survey of Mentoring Programs
Since 2004, Mentor Michigan has conducted the Mentor Michigan Census to provide a comprehensive picture of the state of mentoring in Michigan. The past eight waves of the Census have provided a unique opportunity to understand the needs of the mentoring field and to collect data to support funding, increase media exposure, and attract mentors.
With a solid informational foundation now in place, Mentor Michigan has changed the frequency of when it conducts the full Census. This year Mentor Michigan is asking programs to provide very basic information and numbers to assist in keeping up-to-date data on its primary interests: mentor and mentee demographics. This information will be collected in a short, convenient online survey and the information obtained will be used to continue to generate awareness of the need for mentors, as well as to address additional mentoring needs across the state.
As a thank-you for the time and effort it takes to participate in the survey, Mentor Michigan will be giving away three iPad Minis at the conclusion of the survey period. Simply complete the online survey by the due date of September 27 and your organization will be entered to win!
