Task Force A will focus on increasing economic activity resulting in new and expanded businesses and jobs across all food-related sectors of the state.

Task Force A Recommendations:

1) Encourage entrepreneurs in agri-food businesses and support the networks that help them.
2) Encourage and support new and existing food processing businesses and investigate meat processing needs.
3) Expand the impact of Agricultural Processing Renaissance Zones - APRZs
4) Pursue information and collaboration opportunities to support agri-food businesses and entrepreneurs
5) Encourage supermarkets in underserved areas
