A Board Resolution And Order Approving The Attached Media Relations Policy For The Michigan Gaming Control Board.

Whereas, the Michigan Gaming Control Board ("the Board") believes that it is necessary to approve a media relations policy for the Board to ensure that the media receives complete and accurate information regarding the public business of the Board so that the media can properly and accurately inform the public regarding such matters; and

Whereas, The Communications Subcommittee of the Board did meet and develop a media relations policy; and

Whereas, the Communications Subcommittee did seek direction from the media community, and did incorporate suggestions from the media into the final version of the media relations policy; NOW THEREFORE,

IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED THAT THE ATTACHED MEDIA RELATIONS POLICY SHALL BE AND IS ADOPTED.
