FAQ
  FAQ
How does the State assure that a casino is operating within the law?

Answer:

In addition to conducting thorough initial background investigations of prospective casino operators, the MGCB monitors all aspects of casino operations on a daily basis, and conduct frequent performance audits. These audits are conducted in concert with numerous federal, state and local regulatory and investigatory agencies to assure the financial integrity of each casino operation. The MGCB also works closely with the Michigan Attorney General, Department of State Police, and the Detroit Police Department to investigate allegations of unlawful activity associated with Michigan's casino gaming industry.
