New Stories at the Michigan History Museum

Two figures represent Paleo Indian hunters - jumps to full description, more photos on Flickr

The Michigan History Center is updating exhibits at the Michigan History Museum in Lansing to add many of Michigan's "untold stories" and to update exhibit presentation techniques. Several exhibits in the museum's second-floor galleries, covering Michigan's earliest years to 1900, will be renovated. Click on the photo above to jump to our Flickr site, where you will get sneak peeks of our changing exhibits and a behind-the-scenes look at how exhibits are created.

We are grateful to the W. K. Kellogg Foundation and other donors to the Michigan History Foundation for their support of this work. We also thank tribal members and community members who are providing assistance on the new Gichi-gamiigamig exhibit.
