Chemical Emergency Information for Professionals

Preparing for and responding to dangerous chemical spills and releases, both accidental and intentional, are an important part of emergency response. Some chemical releases can harm human health and cause long-lasting damage to the environment. Emergency response professionals can greatly lessen the impact of chemical spills and releases.
