FEBRUARY 26, 2013 eProcurement Update:
- The URL for the new system has been purchased. The new system name will be Buy4Michigan. The website is not yet active, so transactions are not yet possible.
- To prevent disruption in service for those of you participating in the bidding process, it is important to keep vendor registration and certification information current.
- If you receive a renewal notice from Bid4Michigan (hosted by IPT by BidNet), renewal is necessary to continue to access solicitations and respond online to bids until cutover is complete.
- Access to Bid4Michigan is free via the "Search Only Access" option. There is a charge from IPT by BidNet only if the "Automatic Email Notification" option is selected. When evaluating your registration/renewal options, please keep in mind that automatic email notification of solicitations will be free in the new system.
- Other than possible renewals, no other action is required at this time.

JANUARY 2013 eProcurement Update:
The State of Michigan is replacing Bid4Michigan with a fully integrated end-to-end eProcurement system. Implementation is targeted for Spring, 2013.
The transition will impact you in the following ways:
- All data is being converted from the Bid4Michigan system, so vendors will NOT have to start from scratch for registration in the new system.
- All solicitation documents, attachments, and notices will be available on the new vendor portal at no cost, accessible via user name and password (of your own choosing following initial temporary password and authentication).
- Email notifications of solicitations will be available at no cost. Home screen views and preferences will allow you to best organize and access items of relevance.
- System modules include automated functionality designed to facilitate the entire procurement process including online contract/purchase order issuance, receiving, invoicing, payment, and contract management in a fully integrated system. The sourcing module will allow buyers and potential suppliers to mange solicitation question and answer, and clarification communications in a secure enviornment in real time. The sourcing module also includes reverse auction along with other standard solicitation types.
