Over 100 stakeholders participated in the planning process for the State HIE Cooperative Agreement that ended on April 30 with the submission of the MiHIN Shared Services Strategic & Operational Plan to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
One result of the planning process is a detailed Coordinated Governance model that will utilize the Michigan HIT Commission and create a new, not for profit entity. The next step in implementing the new governance entity is to hold a MiHIN Shared Services Governance Information Session. This information session will review the MiHIN Shared Services background and the governance sections of the Strategic and Operational Plans as well as outline the next steps for forming the MiHIN Shared Services Governance board.
This meeting will be held from 3:00 to 4:30pm on Thursday July 15, 2010 at the Michigan Department of Community Health on the first floor of the Capital View Building in Conference Rooms B&C. The Capital View Building is located at 201 Townsend Street Lansing, Michigan 48913.
