•  Information on Meaningful Use and the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR)
The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) has developed a testing process to ensure the MCIR will be ready to the immunization measured associated with the federal "meaningful use" requirements.

•  Michigan's Health Information Technology Commission  
The Michigan Health Information Technology (HIT) Commission is an advisory commission to the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH). The HIT Commission recommends action to MDCH on setting policies, engaging in activities and directing the vision for MiHIN.

•  Michigan Coalition for Health Information Technology (MCHIT)
The Michigan Coalition for Health Information Technology (MCHIT) is a broad-based, collaborative effort of individuals and organizations across the state to enhance and promote interoperable health information technology. The coalition is preparing the groundwork for an application to the federal government for a Regional Health Information Technology Extension Center (RHITEC) and other related activities. •  Michigan's Health Information Security and Privacy Project (HISPC)
The Michigan Health Information Security and Privacy Project was created to help the Michigan healthcare community get the facts about electronic health information exchange, access the current HIE initiatives within the state, access state laws applicable to HIE and privacy of personal health information. This site also helps health care providers learn about the tools and resources you need to safely and securely get connected.

•  The Michigan Center for Effective IT Adoption (M-CEITA)
M-CEITA, as the organization representing Michigan's Regional Extension Center initiative, will bring together the expertise required to enable Michigan providers to realize the benefits of HIT through effective selection, implementation and long-term use of HIT.

•  MiHIN Shared Services Governance Information Session 7-15-10
This information session reviewed the MiHIN Shared Services background and the governance sections of the Strategic and Operational Plans as well as outline the next steps for forming the MiHIN Shared Services Governance board.

• MIHIN Workgroup Kickoff Information - Held 11-10-09
The MiHIN Workgroup Kick-off was held Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 9am-4:30pm at the Michigan State University Student Union in East Lansing.
