I-75 construction between Sibley and Goddard roads in Wayne County begins in MayContact: Diane Cross, MDOT Office of Communications,
- MDOT is investing $1.1 million to repair 4.5 miles of I-75 in Wayne County.
- Work beginning May 9 will occur in Taylor and Southgate.

April 23, 2014 -- I-75 construction is expected to begin Friday, May 9, between Sibley and Goddard roads, through Taylor and Southgate. This $1.1 million investment includes 4.5 miles of pavement repair and is expected to be completed in early September.
The majority of this work is expected to occur during overnight hours on weekdays, 9 p.m. - 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, and on weekends from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, when traffic volumes are lighter. Motorists can expect up to two lanes closed during construction.
