Well Baby Care

Well baby visits are an important part of a newborn’s care. These visits are scheduled to monitor growth and development and are an excellent time for you as parents to ask questions.

Your pediatrician will be your child's primary physician but there are other resources available. Many medical centers have well baby programs. Click on your county to research what your area's hospital has to offer. You can also check your County Public Health Department for information on various programs.

If you have a child with a disability or hereditary disorder, see Disabilities & Special Medical Needs under the Care For Your Child section.
