Michigan SAFE KIDS Program

The Injury Prevention Section of the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) manages programs related to injury and violence prevention in the State of Michigan.

The Michigan SAFE KIDS Coalition helps promote car seat safety by sponsoring periodic public child safety seat inspections. These events are open to the public and child safety seats are inspected for proper use, recalls, structural integrity, missing pieces, etc.

For more information, contact the Injury Prevention Section with the Michigan Department of Community Health at 517-335-9518.
