Just For Dads

MIPARENTS_Dad and Me Finding out that you are going to be a father can be an exciting and confusing time. You may be asking yourself:

  • How will having a baby change my life?
  • How will I pay for all the things our child will need?
  • How can I be a good dad?
  • What can I do to help during pregnancy?

Questions like these are normal. The March of Dimes Pregnancy & Newborn Health Education Center website has information just for dads to help answer some of these questions.

    Some topic include:
  • Helping Out
  • Pre-term Labor: What Dad Can Do
  • Once the Baby Is Home
  • Breastfeeding: What Dad Can Do
  • Baby's First Year

If you are adopting a child or becoming a foster parent, see our Adoption & Foster Care section.
