Resource and Legal Options for Kinship Caregivers of Children
The Kinship Care Resource Center in collaboration with Michigan State University Continuing Education Department will host a kinship workship aimed at
- Identifying resources available to kinship families through the Department of Human Services and other social service agencies.
- Describing the different legal relationships that may be created in a kinship care arrangement for children and the advantages and disadvantages of these legal relationships, and
- Learning about the policies and bills affecting kinship families in Michigan.
