Retired & Senior Volunteer Program

Formerly known as the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, RSVP provides opportunities for people aged 55 and older to serve their communities, explore new interests, and stay active. With the help of RSVP, non-profit organizations are able to enhance and expand the services they provide.

RSVP is a community program, and local communities determine the focus of the volunteer projects and share in operating costs. The only criteria for participation in RSVP is that a person be 55 years of age or older. RSVP volunteers serve without payment, but receive transportation assistance, excess auto, accident and liability insurance, training and recognition. RSVP volunteers provide service in a variety of areas as mentoring, tutoring, literacy, public safety, homeland security, healthcare, and economic development.

Use the Search for Services to find the RSVP service nearest you.
