How do I find my Area Agency on Aging in Michigan?

Answer:
There are 16 area agencies on aging in Michigan and over 1,000 service providers. The Michigan Office of Services to the Aging contracts with the AAAs to plan and provide needed services to seniors in specified geographic regions of the state. AAAs contract with service providers throughout the state for in-home and community support services for older adults and qualified adults with disabilities.

You can use the Search For Services link to conduct an online search for information.

You may wish to contact the Eldercare Locator toll free at 1-800-677-1116. Staff at the Eldercare Locator can apprise you of the Area Agency nearest you. Or, you can contact our office directly at 517-373-8230 for assistance.
