I am concerned about my friend/family that lives out of state. Who should I contact?

Answer:
The Eldercare Locator is one way to find community assistance for seniors. You can place a toll free call to the Eldercare Locator free referral service by dialing 1-800-677-1116 anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

When calling, please have the following information ready:

  • County and city name or zip code. This will help identify the information resource nearest to the person requiring assistance.
  • Brief description of problem. If you are unsure about what kind of service is best for your situation, don't worry. The highly trained staff at the Eldercare Locator can direct you to a source that can answer your questions.
