Do I qualify for meal services?

Answer:
You qualify for home delivered meals if:
  • you are at least 60 years of age
  • you are homebound (unable to leave your home)
  • you are unable to participate in a congregate (group meal program)
  • you have a special diet, that can be accommodated by the program
  • you can feed yourself

The home delivered meals program provides at least one nutritionally sound meal per day to the client's home.

You qualify for congregate meals if:

  • you are 60 years of age

If you are less than 60 years of age, you may be able to purchase a meal at the congregate site. Please contact the site in advance of your visit to make sure there are enough meals. Congregate meals are provided in a group setting to promote socialization.
