The following materials provide free adult abuse and neglect prevention training as well as other valuable training materials. These materials were produced by BEAM in cooperation with the Michigan State University and the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging through the Michigan Department of Community Health Grant No. *11-P-93042/5-01, awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Presentations and Handouts for all modules are contained in compressed zip files and may require one of many utilities for unzipping files such as PKZip, Stuffit, PowerArchiver or WinZip. Microsoft Office Online offers more information on zipping and unzipping files.
Zip files are single files, sometimes called archives that contain one or more compressed files. Zip files make it easy to keep related files together for e-mailing or downloading.
