Evaluation of the Background Check Pilot Program Final Report

In 2004, Michigan was selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to participate in the Background Check Pilot Program. The Michigan Workforce Background Check Program and the Adult Abuse & Neglect Prevention (AANP) Training Program shared the overarching goal of reducing abuse and neglect of vulnerable older adults in Michigan.
