Interested in volunteering?

The 2008 Michigan State Fair is the
first State Fair in the nation
and a very exciting place to volunteer.

New Volunteers will be accepted through
June 26, 2008

New Volunteers must have their picture taken
on the date and during the times listed below:

Thursday, June 26, 2008
Community Arts Building Corridor
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Please Note: No sunglasses, hats, scarves, or
any kind of head cover are allowed in the picture.

must be returned on picture day.

Returning Volunteers
Application and Schedule Form must be returned
postmarked no later than Friday, June 27, 2008.

Applications
Please include all information
requested on your application. The nickname
you provide us with will be the name on
your nametag and must represent your real name.

Schedule Form
When completing your Schedule Form,
please indicate the times you want to
start and end your shifts, each shift
must be a minimum of four (4) hours.
Starting times should not be
earlier than 9:00 a.m. and ending times
should be no later than 10:00 p.m.

The Michigan State Fair Volunteer Program
requires a twenty (20) hour minimum,
during the  eleven (11) days of the Fair.
Of course, more than twenty (20) hours
is always appreciated.  Volunteers interested
in Pre and Post Fair service should
check the appropriate boxes.

Volunteer Orientation
Orientation will be Monday, August 18, 2008.
There will be three (3) sessions to choose from:
10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m.

You must attend one session in order to
receive your gate admission, parking pass,
and to be informed of the many
new attractions the Fair has to offer.

Sorry, but we will not be able to accept
New Volunteers after
Thursday, June 26, 2008.
