One loan. One payment. It's possible with
MHESLA's Michigan Advantage
Consolidation (MAC) student loan program. MAC offers interest rate savings to
MHESLA's Federal Consolidation Loan borrowers who consolidate $7,500 or more in
eligible federal student loans. First, we payoff your current student loans and
then we consolidate them into one manageable, simple interest loan. Because a
MAC loan can be repaid over a longer period of time, monthly payments can be
lower.
CAUTION AGAINST LOSING YOUR 0% INTEREST RATE
Before consolidating
Michigan Students First (MSF)/Michigan
Engineering Incentive (MEI) loans, you should carefully compare the benefit
of consolidation versus the MSF/MEI benefits that would be lost. It may be more
beneficial for you not to consolidate your MSF/MEI loans. Click here to view our new
Michigan Students First (MSF) "Spotlight" newsletter for more information.
