MPSC Seeks Public Comments on Proposed Electric Interconnection Procedures and Forms

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today said it is seeking public comments by Oct. 16 on proposed electric interconnection procedures and forms, as required by the Commission's rules governing electric utility interconnection standards.

On Aug. 3, Consumers Energy Company, The Detroit Edison Company, the Michigan Electric and Gas Association and the Michigan Electric Cooperative Association filed a joint application for approval of proposed interconnection procedures and forms.

The proposed electric interconnection procedures and forms are located at:

Comments may be e-mailed to mpscedockets@michigan.gov.   Written comments should be mailed to the Executive Secretary, Michigan Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 30221, Lansing, MI  48909.  All comments should reference Case No. U-15919 and must be received by 5 p.m. on October 16.  All information submitted to the Commission in this matter will become public information, available on the Commission's Web site, and subject to disclosure.
