The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement reconciling We Energies' 2006 power supply costs.

The settlement agreement found a net under-recovery of $67,267. The utility is authorized to implement a surcharge of $0.00116 per kilowatt-hour on bills issued for the month of Oct. 2007 for its Michigan power supply cost recovery retail electric customers to collect the under-recovery.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
