MPSC Approves Settlement Agreement Reconciling Northern States Power Company's 2006-2007 Gas Cost Recovery Costs

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement reconciling Northern States Power Company's gas cost recovery (GCR) costs for the 12-month period ended March 31, 2007.

The settlement agreement found that the utility over-collected $356,077, including interest, from its customers during the above-mentioned period.

The company will roll that amount into its 2007-2008 GCR plan.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
