The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement reconciling Northern States Power Company's 2007 power supply costs.

The settlement agreement found that the utility over-recovered $318,952, including interest.

That amount will be rolled into the company's 2008 PSCR reconciliation proceeding.

The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
