The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today said it has approved the contract that designates the Michigan Community Action Agency Association (MCAAA) as the State of Michigan's Energy Optimization Plan Administrator.
The contract was entered into between the Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth and MCAAA on Aug. 10.
MCAAA and the following partners will administer the EO plan for the electric and natural gas providers that have chosen to use the services of an independent energy optimization program administrator. Program planning, design and implementation will be handled by CLEAResult Consulting Great Lakes, Morgan Marketing Partners, Urban Options/Northern Options, WARM Training Center, JACO Environmental, Franklin Energy, Inskeep Design Partners, and Maiorana + Partners.
Participating providers whose customers will receive energy optimization services under the auspices of the EO plan administrator include: Alpena Power Company; Bayfield Electric Cooperative; Edison Sault Electric Company; Indiana Michigan Power Company; Michigan Gas Utilities Corporation; SEMCO Energy Gas Company; Upper Peninsula Power Company; We Energies; Wisconsin Public Service Corporation; and Xcel Energy.
The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth.
