MPSC Reconciles 2005 Power Supply Costs in Four Electric Cases

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved settlement agreements that reconcile the 2005 power supply costs of Cloverland Electric Cooperative; Midwest Energy Cooperative; Thumb Electric Cooperative; and a joint application by Cherryland Electric Cooperative, Great Lakes Energy Cooperative, and Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-op.

In Case No. U-14266-R, the Commission approved a settlement agreement that found a $410,933 under-collection that will be rolled into Cloverland Electric Cooperative's PSCR plan.

In Case No. U-14267-R, the Commission approved a settlement agreement that found a $352,092 net over-collection that will be rolled into the Midwest Energy Cooperative's PSCR plan.

In Case No. U-14269-R, the Commission approved Thumb Electric Cooperative's $149,410 refund to customers that took place in January through March of this year.

In Case No. U-14270-R, the Commission approved settlement agreements that found a $2,590,284 under-recovery for Cherryland; a $5,476,743 under-recovery for Great Lakes; and a $1,645,881 under-recovery for Presque Isle. The under-recoveries will be rolled into their respective PSCR plans.
