Buying Your Home

DO YOU WANT A MSHDA LOAN?
Are you ready to take the first steps toward your dream of homeownership? If so, please contact one of the many lenders across the state that partner with MSHDA to provide affordable loan products. The lender could be your bank or credit union, or possibly the mortgage company around the corner from where you work. Or click on the Experienced Loan Officers list to find a loan officer familiar with MSHDA mortgage products in your area.

When calling loan officers, tell them you are interested in obtaining a MSHDA mortgage. They will explain the different programs MSHDA offers and determine which one would best suit your needs. The loan officer will also determine if you meet our household income guidelines, property eligibility and credit requirements.

If the loan officer believes that you are an eligible borrower and that a MSHDA product would be the best loan for you, they will work directly with you through the entire loan process; meeting with you and handling all the necessary paperwork from application through loan closing.
