26GOVERNOR GRANHOLM TO BE HONORED BY NATIONAL ALLIANCE TO END HOMELESSNESS
LANSING - The National Alliance to End Homelessness, a national nonprofit education, advocacy and capacity building organization, will honor Governor Jennifer M. Granholm with a Public Sector Achievement Award for her leadership in the effort to end homelessness in Michigan the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) announced today.
17Granholm Announces Brownfield Redevelopments in Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids to Create and Retain 748 Jobs
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced that the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, in cooperation with the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, is supporting brownfield redevelopment projects in Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids. The three projects are expected to create and retain a total of 748 jobs and involve more than $108 million in new capital investment.

LANSING - The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) announced that a new 48-unit development for low to moderate-income elderly residents will be built in Alpena with the help of a $2,565,433 construction loan.
