MET - Metropolitan Enforcement Team

MET is a multijurisdictional drug task force. The unit is composed of two teams. The Suburban Team investigates street and mid-level narcotic dealers using traditional investigative techniques. The Conspiracy Team targets and investigates top level narcotics traffickers utilizing historical investigative techniques, as well as federal statutes in conjunction with several federal agencies. The jurisdiction covered by MET is Kent County. Participating agencies are: Grand Rapids Police Department, Kent County Sheriff's Department, Kentwood Police Department, East Grand Rapids Department of Public Safety, Wyoming Police Department and Michigan State Police.
