The recently enacted Michigan Public Act 165 of 2007 transferred the responsibility of the State 9-1-1 Committee dispatcher Training Fund Courses Approval process from MCOLES to the State 9-1-1 Committee. (MCL 484.1408[4][c]). This system will be administered through the State 9-1-1 Office, Mary Jo Weigel at (517) 241-0118 or weigelm@michigan.gov.
The next meeting of the Dispatcher Training Subcommittee will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at the Michigan State Police Headquarters, 333 S. Grand Avenue, Lansing. This meeting will be held in the 1920s Conference Room.
