| Dispatcher Training Subcommittee |
The primary purpose of this group is to oversee the use and distribution of the statewide training fund created through Public Act 32 of 1986. The dispatcher training subcommittee reviews the annual applications submitted by the PSAP's of dispatching staff for approval to receive training funds through the act. The subcommittee works with MCOLES to evaluate training course instructors and content for course certification. The subcommittee also may conduct reviews of PSAP's training funds and courses to facilitate compliance with the act. Additionally the subcommittee may identify dispatcher training issues and bring proposed solutions to the State 9-1-1 Committee for consideration.
