3-5: feeling Safe and Secure. Helps students to understand the importance of being prepared for emergency situations and how they may be able to help when an emergency situation develops.
6-8: Take action. Students are introduced to terrorism and how it has changed our world and created the need for Homeland Security. Students are also introduces to the concept of community preparedness and things they can do that will make their schools and communities safer.
High School: Homeland Security: Every Citizen's Responsibility. Students are introduced to terrorism, Homeland Security, and the seven signs of Terrorism. Students also learn about community preparedness and how to construct and emergency "go kit", as well as other action items that can be taken, which will make their communities safer.
These classes are for any school, group, or organization in those age groups.
