LANSING. The Michigan State Police (MSP) is announcing that Jason Allan Foutch, 30, formerly of Gladwin, Mich., has been located and arrested.  Foutch was featured as an absconder on the state's Most Wanted Sex Offenders Web site at www.michigan.gov/absconders.

Following a cooperative investigation involving the MSP Gladwin Post, U.S. Marshals and Washington authorities, Foutch was taken into custody in Gig Harbor, Wash.  He is currently in jail in Washington pending potential local charges, as well as extradition to Michigan to face charges.

Foutch was previously convicted of MCL 750.349 (Kidnapping - Victim Under 18).

Two other sex offender absconders featured on the state's Most Wanted list were arrested last month - James Glenn Brady and David James Strohm.

The MSP Web site began featuring the names and photographs of 10 of the state's most wanted sex offenders in August 2006.  As wanted individuals are located, new offenders are featured.  The public can provide information about any offender by contacting the MSP toll free at 1-866-761-7678, or by contacting the nearest law enforcement agency.
