Detroit Violent Crime Task Force focuses on offenders who commit violent crimes. Toll Free (800) 752-1121

The Detroit Violent Crime Task is a multi-agency joint operation which is comprised of the Detroit Police Department, the Michigan State Police, and federal law enforcement authorities. The unit operates primarily in the City of Detroit. The task force focuses on offenders who commit violent crimes. The types of offenses normally handled by the task force are varied and include homicides, the use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime, and operating a criminal enterprise.
