Court Reporting
The courts have three options to reporting electronically to MSP CJIC.
-
LEIN judicial entry formatted screen for those agencies with terminal access to the
Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN). Courts are directly on-line with the Criminal History Record system and will receive, accept and reject messages to their own LEIN printer.
-
Extract Software that reads from a court's own automated system. This system
formats a Criminal History Record update transaction and transmits it via communications line between the court's local server and CJIC. The court is on-line with the Criminal History Record system and will receive, accept and reject messages at the local server.
