"Train Like a Trooper"

TEENAGE DEFENSIVE DRIVING
is an 8-hour program aimed at the teenager. The curriculum includes 7 hours of hands-on training and 1 hour of classroom instruction.
The areas covered in class and reinforced during practical exercises are:
- Defensive driving
- Skid control
- Serpentine control
- Controlled braking
- Evasive maneuvering
- Confined area maneuvering
- Off road recovery (emergency)
Class size is limited to 15 students to allow a 3-to-1 student/instructor ratio.
Michigan State Police patrol vehicles will be provided for all driving exercises.

Baggy low ride jeans, flip flops or inappropriate T-shirts are unacceptable.
Tennis shoes and fitted jeans are acceptable.

Must be a fully licensed GDL Level 2 driver.
