This course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS).
The target audience for this course is for individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents. Note: During a Type 3 incident, some or all of the Command and General Staff positions may be activated, as well as the Division/Group Supervisor and/or Unit leader level positions. These incidents may extend into multiple operational periods. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
This course is Department of Homeland Security (DHS) accepted and applicable for the use of DHS grant funds.
The Michigan Center for Public Health Preparedness
(MI-CPHP)
, a CDC-funded training center, will be offering scholarships to public health professionals who wish to complete this training. Scholarships will include the cost of standard tuition. Additional expenses related to overnight accommodations will not be covered through this funding source. To request MI-CPHP funding support for this training activity, enter "MICPHP grant" in the Billing section of the registration form under "Other". Funding requests are not guaranteed and will be based on appropriateness of application and availability of funding
