Basic Narcotics School

March 14 - 17, 2011
September 12 - 15, 2011

This school consists of basic narcotics training in using informants, laboratory testing, drug identification, courtroom testimony, field work, technical equipment, and conspiracies. Recommended for undercover officers who are preparing to enter a narcotics unit or who have less than 6 months experience with a narcotics unit.

REGISTRATION PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO MSP DRUG TASK FORCE TEAMS.  OTHER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS AS OPENINGS ARE AVAILABLE.

  • Street Drugs, Weights & Measures
  • TSS Equipment Use
  • Report Writing
  • Interview & Interrogation
  • Meth Labs
  • Behavioral Sciences
  • Working With Informants
  • Undercover Preparation & Safety

Cost for this training:

$220.00 for Non-Lodging (includes breaks and lunches only)
$340.00 for Lodging (includes breaks, room, and all meals)
(Additional charge for Sunday night lodging)

Lodging is based on double occupancy only.

This program is MCOLES registered.

Registrations are to be completed online through MI-TRAIN.
