State Police Release Sketch of Suspect Involved in Attempted Abduction of 13-year-old in Armada Township

Suspect Sketch - Armada Township

ARMADA TOWNSHIP, MACOMB COUNTY. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Metro Post is currently investigating the attempted abduction of a 13-year-old boy in Armada Township.  The incident occurred on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at approximately 5:50 p.m.

The boy was approached by a subject in a 2002/03 maroon Ford Taurus in the area of North Avenue and Irwin Street and enticed to get in the vehicle. The boy refused the suspect's advances, ran home and notified his parents.  The vehicle fled northbound on North Avenue.

A composite drawing of the suspect has been created.  The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35-years-old, with blond hair, slight facial hair and a muscular build.  He was wearing a fishing-style hat and white t-shirt.
