Police car bubble Your retirement plan provides protection for your dependents if you are killed while you are an enlisted State Police member.

Your family members may qualify to receive a duty survivor benefit if you are killed as a result of discharging your State Police duties. If you are an active member with ten or more years of service, and are killed while off duty, your family may be eligible to receive a preretirement nonduty survivor pension.
