Benefit Estimator

This estimator allows you to enter data to calculate an unofficial projection of your retirement pension. The estimator uses the data you input-it is not connected to your earnings record on file with ORS. The accuracy of your pension estimate will depend on how closely the variables chosen by you now match the actual factors at your retirement.

Note: Section 401(a)(17) of the IRS code can affect the final average compensation, and therefore the pension payments, of certain highly compensated individuals who were hired after October 1, 1996. The rule places a limit on the maximum compensation allowed for retirement benefit computations. Any wages you earn above this limit, which is set by IRS each year, may not be included in your pension calculation. In 2008, the limit is $230,000.

I have read this disclaimer and am ready to do a calculation.
